The Dave Pringle Sagas

​​The Dave Pringle Sagas is an English animated sitcom created by David Jarvis and Craig Newton.

The series centres on Dave Pringle, a vampire, millionaire and owner of Dave Pringle Estate, who struggles through life as a businessman at his manor in the fictional village of Teversal, near the town of Mansfield.

To help him are his dysfunctional family of employees consisting of housekeeper and girlfriend Maureen Fannywax, adopted sister and librarian Wendy Crabwomb, and famous gardener/musician Elvis Presley; their driver Chaz, Chris the leaflet distributor, Candice the receptionist, Viv the nurse, Pradeep Manaktala the Indian chef; and their diabolical genius inventor Ronnie Gogo. And let's not forget Pringle's three bodyguards, The Loot Men.

The show introduces a wide range of characters mainly voiced by the two creators. The Sagas was conceived by Jarvis and Newton after developing short animated films on the 1995 software 3D Movie Maker.​ Jarvis and Newton pitched together to create The Dave Pringle Sagas around 2003, where it then spiralled out of control and an insane series was born.

 

The Dave Pringle Sagas currently has over 100 episodes. It is a show in which stories and plots carry over, and things change throughout, therefore if you have never seen the show before, then it is advised that you start from the beginning so that you know what the bloody hell is going on.
